Precautions for Indoor Pesticide Use

Read the pesticide label carefully before opening the container.
Assume a prepared spray is flammable unless the label specifically says it isn't.
Cover or remove all food. Also remove pet food and water dishes.
Never use pesticides indoors that require gas masks or respirators.
Don't spray entire walls, floors, or ceilings with a pesticide.
If you're using baits, remember they are highly toxic. Make sure to place them where children and pets won't get into them.
Don't use a room fogger for spraying a surface. The droplets hang in the air indefinitely.
