Make sure you read and understand the label and all of its implications. If not, ask someone at the store to clarify for you. Choose the least toxic pesticide you need to complete the job. Find out what the "active ingredient" of the pesticide is. Learn the toxicology and hazard associated with that particular chemical. Buy the pesticide with the largest margin of safety, both for your family and any pets you may have. Only buy pesticides labeled for home use. Only buy a pesticide made specifically for the problem you need it for. |
